Do you ever feel like some projects are just too advanced for you? I always thought that with caramel. Whenever I look up recipes for making candy they just seem so detailed and complicated that only an expert can do them. Well I have been proven wrong. You may have seen our Valentine's Day Choco-love post, and if you did, then you would know that I made caramel last weekend, and it was so much easier than I ever imagined!
This recipe took me less than an hour, is adorable and delicious, and it goes so well with coffee cake!
I found it over here on Joy the Baker, and I just can't get over how easy and delicious it was!
I included it in my Valentine's day treat for my Sweet, AND shared it with friends, and all sang its praises!
I also put it in some tiny jars as gifts for friends! What a fun use for re-purposed mini jam jars, the only things I had to go out and get for this project were a few oranges, and it is always a treat to make a project with things mostly found around the house, or in this case, the kitchen.
I made sure to put it in glass jars to make it easy to microwave to the perfect pouring temperature, and smothered my coffee cake in it. It was just so delicious I can barely contain my excitement!
AND... You can win a cake for yourself later this February after your Valentine gets their treats!
